Care Instructions

Ordinary & Co ceramics are made to be used every day, not just special occasions. Porcelain is a strong and durable material, robust enough to stand up to everyday life.

All our fully glazed ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe.

As with all ceramics, sudden changes in temperature should be avoided.

Where porcelain has been left partially or fully unglazed, it is best to wash by hand using warm water, a mild washing up liquid and a soft cloth or sponge.

Unglazed areas can be more porous and may pick up marks over time.

To remove stains, we recommend a simple paste of bicarbonate of soda and water to clean the surface. Use a sponge or old toothbrush to gently scrub the area. For grease marks on unglazed pieces, a small amount of food-safe oil, like olive oil, can help lift the stain before washing as normal.
